Welcome to Uav Vision's Website, here is a brief history on how and when we started

We are developers of VTOL UAV’s, Camera platforms and camera systems.  Our primary focus is incorporating our advanced technology into products aimed at existing commercial markets for surveillance and structural inspection that are expected to experience rapid growth due to the more and more safety conscious attitudes.

1)      Technology, which encompasses the further advancement and application of our proprietary helicopters and camera gimbals.

2)      Products, whereby we manufacture and assemble our VTOL platforms and camera systems in house.

History

Mr Grant Hughes and Mr Michael Bailey are equal shareholders in UAV Vision, Michael has moved from England to Sydney April 2006, and joined Grant in the creation of UAV Vision.

UAV Vision is a company based in Port Macquarie, Australia and was formed by Grant Hughes and Michael Bailey in June 2006, for 10 months previous to this date Grant and Michael were working together internationally. Grant Hughes working from his workshop in Sydney on numerous projects, one of which being the development of the 280mm Gyro gimbal we have today and Michael, building Gas turbine VTOL camera platforms which are the basis of our large systems today.  In these 10 months Grant acquired two contracts to build the T25 series helicopters, in August 2005 Scalecopter located in Germany ordered a T25 system, this was then made and sent to Germany where Grant and Michael spent most of November finishing the system and getting it ready for the autopilot integration.  Michael stayed in Germany over the next few weeks to test fly and provide backup support for Scalecopter through it’s demonstrations, whilst Grant returned to Sydney where he was greeted by another contract to lease the T25 series helicopter and 280mm Gyro camera gimbal by the CSIRO in Queensland.
